On our way to Brooklyn to be elegant, Sabu and I stopped at the Westpoint Foundary in Cold Springs, NY for a promenade and bathroom break. The views of the Hudson River are amazing and the easy access to stabilized ruins made it more than just a bathroom stop. I would return here again.

Love Goes On – Discover Albany
I spent most of today walking around downtown Albany, NY melting in the head and documenting the awesome #CapitalWalls project. The #CapitalWalls project enlivens public spaces with giant murals by local artists. The murals are the first thing I see when I arrive in Albany, and they make me happy. My favorite mural is “Love Goes On” by Nick Walker.
For more information about the elegant Capital Walls project check out the Albany Center Gallery page.
I will have more photographs of the murals when I finally get my roll of Lomography Potsdam 100 developed in a century or two.
First Impressions: Diana Instant Square
Good: Bullet proof instax film works well with the Diana’s quirks.
Bad: Controls are not intuitive and it is easy to make expensive mistakes.
I was supposed to test my new Lomography Diana Instant Square by spending an elegant weekend in New Haven, CT but at the last moment, my trip was moved to the triumph of Albany, NY.
The Oldest Store In Albany
After the abandoned parking garage that I love, and before the eye windows, is Albany’s oldest store.
I’m not sure what it is called, but I think it might be Lodge’s.
