I treated my family to a trip to New York for a pre-father’s day and mother’s day and we stayed at the EVEN in Brooklyn, NY. I love hotels with windows that open so I let fresh air in and listen to the sound of the city.
Lake George Howard Johnson’s
Last year, due to the fierceness of Hillary, I was able to stay at a very competent Hampton Inn located in Lake George, NY. Lake George is a famous summer resort in upstate New York that in winter is deather than my photography career. Without planning it, I discovered that the last Howard Johnson’s restaurant is located in the parking lot of the Hampton Inn. Lucky me! I didn’t end up eating there because the reviews were so horrible I couldn’t handle it. How horrible? So horrible that I ate at a mediocre indian restaurant across the street.
The Oldest Store In Albany
After the abandoned parking garage that I love, and before the eye windows, is Albany’s oldest store.
I’m not sure what it is called, but I think it might be Lodge’s.
Sad Windows
These windows look sad. Naturally, if they had more donuts they would be happier. Of all the things to do in Albany, I recommend eating donuts the most.
